At The Body Shop, we believe in business as a force for good—just as our founder, Dame Anita Roddick, always did. Since 1976, we’ve stood for ethically sourced, nature-inspired products that make you feel good inside and out. We want you to love every product you buy from us, but if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

If you're not 100% happy with your purchase, we’ll do our best to make it right—because beauty should never come with compromise.

How Returns Work

• Timeframe: You can return products within 30 days of receiving your purchase must include the receipt

• Gently loved products are welcome! If you’ve tried it and it’s just not working for you, we accept gently used products because we believe in trying before committing. An exchange will be offered on gently used products within 30 days from receiving your purchase based on the purchase price. All returns and exchanges must include the original receipt

• Original Payment Method: Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment only.

• Please note that final sale, clearance items, promotional gift items, and e-gift cards are not eligible for return nor price adjustments.

Our Fair Trade on Returns

Just as we’re committed to fairness in our sourcing, we ask for fairness in returns. If we notice an unusual pattern of returns, we may need to limit future transactions.

How to Return

• In-Store: Visit any of our stores with your item and receipt. Our friendly team will be happy to assist.

• Online Purchases: Click here to begin the return or exchange process. You will receive a prepaid return label. Shipping fees are non-refundable and an $9.95 fee will be applied, unless the return is due to a fault on our part.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

Anita Roddick taught us that business should be about doing good. That’s why we encourage recycling and reducing waste. If you return a product, we ensure it’s disposed of responsibly, and we always encourage you to recycle any packaging you can.
