"I felt like I’ve been cheated by the cream. I’m not really sure why they changed the formula. This new formula is not as thick, very watery & doesn’t hydrate the skin as previously. I have dry skin condition and I have used this body shop cream for the last 14 years and I can’t use anything else on my body so this is really disappointing. I really hope they bring back the old formula or at least sell the other old one."

I realises that the packaging had changed when i was buying the last 3 tins however did not realise the change in consistency until I opened. "I have been buying the Shea butter for years, and have specifically chosen the shea butter because it was the only body cream in your line that was actually thick and mosturised, and didn't just smell nice. Now the formula has changed to be exactly like the others-it's thinner and more creamy. This is very disappointing but I thought I would use it for over a week before reviewing. Unfortunately it was exactly as I suspected. Because you have changed the formula to prioritise being thinner over actually nourishing and moisturising, this body butter no longer heals dry cracked skin on my heels, or removes the dry skin from elbows. It simply smells nice and sits on top of the skin, instead of actually doing its job and sinking into the body to moisturise/smooth skin, leading to properly nourished and improved skin. My skin is now worse again so I won't be buying this product unless you change back to your original formula. I really hope you at least offer the original formula somewhere, even if you wanted to continue selling this thinner and less useful version."
